As the author of the Leave No One Behind Promise himself, we are honoured to have the support of David Donoghue, who is our Leave No One Behind Project Patron.
David served as Ireland’s permanent Ambassador to the United Nations from 2013 until 2017. In 2014 he was appointed, alongside Kenyan Ambassador Machiara Kamau, to co-facilitate negotiations between world governments on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
On the 2nd of August 2015 the Ambassadors presented the fruits of the negotiations to the United Nations: “Transforming Our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.”
